FishHawk Riverview Rotary Team

Dates: January 9 – 16 Team Leader: Ed Odom

Description: This is an 8-day trip, Thursday through Thursday. All are welcome to apply! All ages high school to retired are welcome as part of the team. They will work on community projects in LaPaz including the construction of a home. FishHawk-Riverview Rotary team looks forward to working with the fine folks in Honduras.

Description: This is a 7-day trip, Sunday through Saturday. The team has open enrollment for anyone age 12 and up. The team will focus on completing community projects.

Hamilton Women’s Empowerment Team

Dates: February 4 – 8 Team Leader: Julie Sickle

Description: This is a 5-day trip, Tuesday through Saturday. The team has open enrollment for women and girls 12 and up. Mothers and daughters are welcome! The team will complete community projects and interact with local women and children to provide customized support.

Description: This is a 7-day trip, Wednesday through Tuesday. All are welcome to apply! The team currently includes Shelby Rotary members and members from area churches, ages high school to retired. They will work on community projects in LaPaz including the construction of a home. They look forward to working with the fine folks in Honduras.

Largo Community Church Team

Dates: November 3 – 10 Team Leader: Dwayne/Patty Hooper

Description: This is an 8-day trip, Monday through Monday. This is a medical mission trip which will offer basic medical support such as dental screening, but the main focus is on training the people of Honduras, including the village leaders, doctors, and first responders, to handle medical emergencies. This team will also train them in the power of prayer for their people and themselves so that they can include prayer in their first aid kit.

The team will primarily be staffed by members from Largo Community Church, but they are open to a couple of non-members who are medical professionals.
